Stefano will hold a workshop at the “Stari grad” school in Kapetan-Mišina 6a.

The only workshop that will be live with an online broadcast on the site.

The workshop will be divided into two parts. In the first part, the guest will explain what is important and what is secondary in the practice of photojournalism. In the second part, he will talk about a specific project and all the steps that lead to its final form: the creation, the documentation that precedes, the realization itself, the research of funds and later use in editorial and exhibition frameworks.

Thomas guides you through the „Between the Pages“ project, in which he actively deals with the phenomenon of photo books and its practical aspects. You will get useful information on how to design your photo book and tips on what you need along the way.

Koen is a professor at numerous colleges and schools of photography in the Netherlands. On this occasion, he will hold a presentation on visual storytelling in the context of human rights, with special emphasis on showing members of socially vulnerable groups.

Adam Ferguson’s work has largely explored conflict, with a focus on civilians caught amidst geopolitical forces. He has been the recipient of multiple awards from World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International, American Photography, Photo District News, The Overseas Press Club of America, and Columbia University. Ferguson will discuss his journey as a photojournalist to portrait photographer, exploring authorship and his story-telling practices.
